January 2024
KHSAA Girls & Boys Basketball Tournament - Boys & Girls High School Basketball Teams go head to head for the KHSAA Championship at The Appalachian Wireless Arena. Games will take place from January 3rd through January 18th.
Pete the Cat visits the Library - Pete the Cat will visit the Pike County Public Library on January 16th at 5:30 for activities and stories!
Tea Light Snowman Craft - Turn a battery-operated tea light into a snow man! This program will take place at the Pike County Public Library on Saturday, January 20th at 3:00.
Harry Potter Yule Ball - Join the Pike County Public Library on January 27th for the Yule Ball! Enjoy a sorting station, wands, Harry Potter trivia, potion making, butter beer and chocolate frogs!
Monthly Member Meeting - Join South East Kentucky Chamber for a conversation with John Michael Johnson, Project Manager for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet on January 9th at The Garfield House!
Uncle Lazer Comedy Show - Comedian based out of Austin TX will be at The Appalachian Center for the Arts on January 27th. For Mature Audiences.
The Harlem Globetrotters - Don't miss The Harlem Globetrotters basketball at the Appalachian Wireless Arena on Wednesday, January 17th.

FREE Improv Classes - Register now for a FREE improv intensive at The Appalachian Center for the Arts! December Recap
Christmas Parade, Elf the Musical, Girls Night Out, Winterfest, & much more, December was a jammed pack month full of fun in Pikeville! Around 1,300 skaters took the ice at Winterfest, over 3,000 people enjoyed watching local performers in Elf the Musical, & more that 2,000 people came out to partake in the Christmas Parade & Girls Night Out. Needless to say, December was an incredible month for Pikeville & we are so thankful for each & every person that came to celebrate the holidays with us!
